Community Outreach/Education; Drop-In Center; Health & Wellness Education; Meals; Mental Health; Recreational & Social Activities; Support; HIV Prevention, Testing & Counseling Program; Social & Cultural Programs; Identity Groups; statewide Texas Gay Straight Alliance Network.
Arts/Culture Programs
Community Meeting Space; Out Youth organizes an annual talent show in which youth have the opportunity to explore and embellish their gifts and to perform in different areas: singing, dancing, painting, photography, poetry, comedy, and theatrical performance. Out Youth also conducts periodic writing workshops to allow youth with an interest in writing to develop their skills in a focused way. Throughout the year, Out Youth provides workshops in other creative arts areas to enhance the youth’s capacities and talents..

Information/Education Services
Business and Professional Networks; Computer/Internet/Email Access; Computer/Internet/Email Training; Employment Counseling/Training; In-House Library; Newspapers/Publications; Recreational Programs; Speakers Bureaus; Educational and psycho-educational programming occur on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and / or Sundays and provide youth with information on safe sex, self-esteem, building healthy relationships, coming out, career and education planning, anger management, self-defense, and other resources for youth in the Austin area. Out Youth’s 2,000-volume gay and lesbian lending library contains books for youth, parents, and educators. Out Youth also is home to a David Bohnett Cyber Center so that youth have access to email, the Internet, and opportunities to learn or improve technical skills. .

Discussion or Support Groups; Fitness Programs; Health Promotion and Education; LGBT Friendly Referrals; Pharmacy/Prescription Drug Distribution; STD/HIV Counseling; STD/HIV Outreach and Education; STD/HIV Prevention; STD/HIV Testing; "Out Fit" is our outdoor program which includes organized activities such as hiking, swimming, and biking. For other physical and healthy activities, youth can participate in "Team Out Youth" programs including yoga, running, and other physical fitness activities. .
