Recruitment Project Manager [Job ID #584]
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing innovative and comprehensive clinical study participant recruitment. This position serves as the team leader and coordinator of a diverse recruitment team at The Fenway Institute.
Typical duties include: developing, overseeing and evaluating the implementation of strategic recruitment plans for each study protocol; providing supervision and training to Recruitment Team members; providing budgetary and fiscal oversight, including cost/benefit analysis of recruitment activities; oversees development of recruitment database and dissemination of activity data; overseeing the planning, development and final production of innovative and culturally appropriate recruitment outreach materials.
Additional duties include: generating and disseminating regular descriptive statistics, future projections regarding recruitment, follow-up, retention and compliance, and other data analyses as requested; and managing communication with staff, collaborators, Principal Investigators, Study Managers and other relevant individuals and organizations.
•1-3 years community engagement experience required.
•Supervisory experience preferred
•Data management experience including designing databases
•Community outreach and/or participant recruitment and retention expertise
•Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate strategies
•Demonstrated ability to understand and explain clinical trial protocols (inclusion/exclusion criteria, demographics, disease prevalence)
•Proficiency with MS Office and the Web, experience with design applications helpful
•Proficiency with creating and managing databases (Lime Survey, Redcap, ACCESS,ect)
•Excellent communication and writing skills
•Enthusiastic and professional attitude
•Experience working in communities heavily impacted by HIV
•Knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse communities, particularly communities of color and gay/lesbian/ bisexual/transgender communities
•Experience working in an ethnically, culturally and racially diverse environment preferred
•Ability to work harmoniously with diverse groups of individuals required
