Brief Update: Hate Crimes Passes Senate

In another incredible victory of the day, the Hate Crimes bill has passed the Senate.

Hate Crimes Act Passes
Senate Vote, Final Phase!
The
Senate has passed the Hate Crimes Act for the second time. With the House
already having passed the act several weeks ago, this means the last major
hurdle has been passed, and once President Obama signs it the Hate Crimes Act
will become law.
Congratulations to all those that have spent their time and energy in
reaching out to their elected officials on this issue, it could not have been
done without your work.
